Have you been worried about your health or the health of your loved one’s during this whole COVID crisis we are going through?  In this episode we are talking about how we cope with this new world we live in during COVID with our Special Guest, Irene Bosco who is a Clinical Social Worker Specialist at Nutmeg Counseling Services in North Haven, Connecticut.

You guys are in for a special treat! (in more ways than 1 with some interview crashing by Irene’s 5 year old)

Irene is a runner herself and has over 20 years of clinical experience as a clinician and also has passion for helping runners overcome mental hurdles, mental blocks, and becoming healthier as it relates to mental wellness.

However, she is dealing with a new challenge today helping so many clients cope with this new world we find ourselves in.

In this episode, Irene is answering these common questions she is getting each and every day in her practice:

How do I deal with all the worry I have that I will get the virus or someone I love will become sick?

How do I stay connected with my loved ones during social distancing?

How do I continue doing the things I love like exercising when my life is turned upside down?

Working with Duane has been a game-changer for my running. I’ve been in an endless cycle of injuries for the past five years and needed to make a change.

I connected with Duane through his Healthy Runner Facebook group, and then we began our virtual physical therapy visits. Virtual sessions work great for me because I’m constantly traveling and can access care wherever I reside. Even though I’m not in the clinic, I still receive the same quality of experience!

The best part is Duane is a physical therapist, runner, and coach, so he understands how important running is for our physical, mental, and emotional well-being! If you want to become a stronger, healthier, and faster runner, look no further!
